July 2007 Charlie won the Leslie Harding Memorial Trophy presented by the West Of England Labrador Retriever Club to the dog with the highest points at Championship shows for 2006 .........and he only showed for 9 months of the year

Charlie 13 months old gained his 1st CC at Cotswold & Wyevern LRC

Reserve Best In Show, Best Opposite Sex

and has gained his Junior Warrant award

Charlie came to us come to us at 6 months old from Diana Beckett (Kimvalley) and is a wonderful character, full of fun and very loving but very strong willed. He was shown by Hugh at his first show the Ladies Kennel Association in December 2005 although neither had ever met before he managed to make the judges first cut in quite a good sized class. He came home with us that night and he has settled very well. He enjoyed his first Christmas with us and decided to eat the wires to the tree lights on two occasions (aided and abetted by another youngster), just good that Hugh is an electrician!
We hope to have a long and successful career with him in the ring.
